Blue Turtle creates magic with Magical Moments
Blue Turtle Technologies brought much joy to many children around Johannesburg. Magical Moments invested the donation that Blue Turtle's made as follows : “Celebrating the niceties in life” The majority of the donation was invested in two separate outings for 91 children from Lulamani Day Care centre, situated in the Kenana squatter camp in Rabie Ridge. There are 125 children at the day care. The children were treated to an outing to Kid-e-up, a children’s party farmyard situated in the Kyalami countryside - a chance to play, in the fresh air and sunshine.
71 delightful children at Kwena Molapo pre-school, situated in the informal settlement in Drummond were treated to a puppet show & lunch treat. Basic foodstuffs was purchased for Lulamani Day Care when the pantry was bare. Angie, the teacher could feed the little ones, for some, the only meals that they receive. Paint was also purchased to paint the additional container that is now a classroom to brighten up the inside and match the exterior of the rest of the day care centre. A portion of the donation also went to purchasing basic items of stationery towards Spring stationery & lunch treat for a primary school in Soweto in mid September.
